No.9

No.9 is a cultural organization that provides youth with creative educational tools to address Climate Change and to foster dialogue between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.

Our vision is to inspire a cultural shift towards a global sustainable lifestyle that is inclusive and equitable. We believe in the Culture of Sustainability. (The definition of culture as it pertains to the arts, food, equity, indigeneity, and sustainability as it pertains to a balance between social, economic, and environmental objectives.)

Through public art exhibitions, creative design theory and critical thinking educational programs we empower the next generation to lead a revolution in building sustainable and inclusive communities while fostering reconciliation.

To do this work No.9 collaborates with a diverse group of artists, designers, and experts to bring awareness to pressing environmental issues through creative expression and hands on experiences.

Our goal is to transfer environmental knowledge and to inspire action towards Climate Change mitigation in the next generation.
