Co-created by Cree dance artist Sandra Lamouche and settler dance artist Melanie Kloetzel/kloetzel&co., Just Breathe, Okâwîmâskiy takes audience on an immersive journey into and out of climate anxiety. Questioning our cultural responses to such anxiety, the performance takes small groups of audience members on an excursion of hope, deceit, fear and serenity in order to consider alternatives to a shocking fate.
